"Manchester's Garden Cemetery"

In 1840, the Amoskeag Manufacturing Company donated 20 acres of land to the City of Manchester for use as a burial ground. The following year, the Valley Cemetery was created as a "garden" cemetery. Friends of the Valley Cemetery is dedicated to restoring and preserving this treasure.
